Who needs Kinect for business?

Today Microsoft has launched Kinect for Windows with the Kinect SDK for developers. It means that now it's possible to develop any application for Kinect, which will run on any PC. And it's not done for people who want to save money on buying the XBox console (it wouldn't be clever from Microsoft's side). The reason is that the company sees much more opportunities for using this motion and voice sensor besides games and entertainments. So where Kinect could be used in the business world? Microsoft identifies the three main industries: healthcare, education and retail.
Healthcare seems to be the biggest winner from Kinect (as well as from iPad). For example, Kinect will help surgeons to manipulate the information screen during the operation or help to cure patients with autism. The great advantage of Kinect for medicine is that it is completely sterile and infections are not transmitted through it.
There is no doubt in Kinect's perspectives in kindergartens and schools. Because Kinect can turn learning into a game and save children from the uninteresting occupations like seating at a desk and writing letters.
In retail stores Kinect can significantly improve customer experience
thanks to creating motion-kiosks and showrooms. Besides we expect that Kinect will be used in video conferencing (or rather a telepresence systems) and business presentations. For example, Toyota has already showed how to use Kinect for vehicle presentation.
