SaaS service Travel eXpresso was developed by Russian-German company GP Solutions on the wave of two modern Enterprise 2.0 trends. First, it's a vertical solution designed exclusively for specific business of travel agencies. Secondly, it provides the non-software value. Because except for (software) tools for managing customer/partner database, product catalog, order tracking, financial accounting, Travel eXpresso provides a hub to major global reservation systems (such as Amadeus, Galileo, GTA). Thus, having deployed this service a travel agency can quickly build a global online reservation system into its site. And it will have localized interface, prices in local currency with the operator's commission and support local payment solutions.

Moreover, the travel agency can provide access to its agents and allow them to build the same online reservation system to their sites. In addition to reselling consolidators' services, users can also create own travel products (tours, excursions, visas ...) and sell them via Travel eXpresso.

The system has a modular structure and when ordering you can select needed modules and get the price. For example, the module for adding own tours costs 100 EUR/month, CRM module - 100 EUR/month, the site-integration module - 50 EUR/month, integration with Amadeus - 100 EUR/month, etc. In addition, for each successful reservation transaction the system charges 2 EUR.

GP Solutions is not a newcomer in the travel industry. It has been implementing its basic system GP Travel Suite already for 8 years. Is the company ready to provide a SaaS-product - is a question for now. But, according to the information on the site, the app works on the servers of one of the leading providers in Western Europe and 99% up-time plus regular backups are guaranteed.
